Platforms change their limits without announcing it, and a wrong number here is the worst kind of bug this site can have. If a limit on any page no longer matches what the platform actually enforces, tell us which page and what you are seeing — corrections are treated as urgent.

We cover eleven platforms. If you regularly hit a character limit somewhere we have not covered — a niche social network, an ad platform, a CMS field — tell us where and what you are writing.
Report a bug
A count that looks wrong, a limit bar that does not update, or a page that will not load. Let us know the page, your browser, and the text you were counting if you can share it.
Privacy, advertising or legal
Questions about cookies, advertising or how the site handles data. Note that the text you count never leaves your browser, so we hold no copy of it.
